Welltrol Accumulator is the hydraulic equivalent of a spring in that it can store energy and dampen an impulse or force. The main uses of accumulators are:

Energy savings by reduction of pump capacity requirements
Pulsation dampening and noise reduction from pumps and water hammer
Maintaining system pressure during system demand or leakage
Thermal expansion compensation
Storage of fluid power for emergency back-up
Bladders are available in nitrile and cold-weather nitrile. Other elastomers are available by special order. The shell is chrome-molybdenum seamless non-welded construction, ASME U stamped. Top repairable and bottom load configurations are available. Working Pressure up to 3000Psi and also carry 5000Psi.
